Well, 2024 is going to be quite a memorable year for me!It’s 50 years since I was at Tettenhall College (left in 1974 at 18)I turned 68 in April 2024 which marks 50 years of near permanent employment.I’ve spent over 39 years in sales recruitment with the last 12 years spent working for ARV Solutions as a sales recruiter. ARV Solutions specialise in the Offsite Construction / Modern Methods of Construction sector where buildings are built in a factory Timber Frame, SIP, Modular and Light Steel Frame.Dropped down to a 4-day week in April 2024 and will drop another day in July until I retire at the end of December 2024 as It’s pipe and slippers time ??Been happily married to Jackie, my second wife, since 2001and have two daughters from my first marriage and three grandchildren. Nick Middleton, previous Head Boy, was my best man at my first wedding. I will be supporting my wife’s daughter, Cerian Kear, in May when we will be travelling to the Netherlands as she is part of Team Wales at the World Open Dog Agility competition. In addition will be cheering her on at the European Open held later in the year as she is a travelling reserve member of Team GB (there is a good chance that she will run but not guaranteed).Still enjoy shooting and will be part of a team who will shoot at The Royal Berkshire, Purdey clay shooting ground in aid of Navy Wings https://navywings.org.uk/ in June. Also enjoy rifle shooting as well in both full-bore and small-bore guises.
