Welcome to the Old Tettenhallians Golf Society.

In 1931 Frank Vernon donated a cup which has been contested every year since (with the exception of the war years) and the Vernon Cup has become the most prestigious of the society's events. It was not until 1975 that the present society was founded by Keith Vernon (son of Frank), Derek Sage, Hugh Carter and Morris Winyard, who was the Secretary for at least the next twenty years. Nowadays, the society is a vibrant organisation that welcomes all OT golfers to participate in an extensive fixture list from Spring to Autumn and includes many quality championship courses.

The Society has grown extensively through the years with a fixture every month from April until October at various golf courses throughout the country. A Knock Out Competition for the Rose Bowl is also run in the summer months.

The society extends a warm welcome to new members. Qualification for membership has been expanded and now comprises the following categories:-

Old Tettenhallians.

Parents of current and former pupils of the College.

Current and former Staff of the College.

Current Sixth Formers.

Current and former Governors.

Children and grandchildren of Old Tettenhallians.
