“In December 2021, it was announced that Harpreet Sandhu (at TC between 1991 and 1998) is to be appointed a QC by Her Majesty The Queen on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, Dominic Raab MP, following consideration by the independent Queen’s Counsel Selection Panel. Harpreet was called to the Bar in 2005. He is based at No5 Barristers’ Chambers and practices in criminal law. He prosecutes and defends in grave and complex cases. He has been ranked consistently by Chambers UK and the Legal 500 as a leader in his field. The Lord Chancellor will preside over the appointment ceremony at Westminster Hall on 21 March 2022."
