Dr Andy Mottershead wrote to me this last week. (Andy is the umpire shown on the left in the photo.)Dear Jackie I am still alive, still enjoying my retirement (since2010).Still watching Somerset ccc Hoping to win the Championship one day soon. Still involved in education as Chair of Governors at an engineering academy in the West Midlands. I also am heavily involved at The Taunton Brewhouse theatre as a volunteer, working backstage on lighting and occasional set building. I remain grateful as a parent as both Emma and Tim flourished at TC and both now have very successful careers. I am no longer writing textbooks or examining so have plenty of time to do what I want, when it suits!!I look back on my 36 years teaching at TC with many wonderful memories. I always enjoy hearing from people I taught noting how well they have done subsequently. AndyDr A Mottershead
