In light of the announcement from Mr Johnson on Monday evening regarding the delay in the lifting of current restrictions, the OT committee have been consulted and we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's OT Reunion Weekend.

We do this with a heavy heart as it promised to be a fantastic weekend. We had well over 120 people booked in with two weeks to go and we know there would have been many more last minute bookings. Such a great turnout would have been an amazing celebration at the end of this difficult time. Sadly we are not quite at the end and we must abide by the regulations.

We did, of course, consider running just the sports matches but as many people travel back to Tettenhall specifically for this, we felt it would be unreasonable to expect them to do that without being able to enjoy the social side of things.

What this does mean is that we are already planning for next year. We will let you know as soon as we have confirmed dates but I suggest you put it in your diaries as soon as the dates are published. It is going to be a good one!

In the meantime we are planning for the Annual OT Lecture in the autumn term which will be 'Perspectives on Covid from the NHS'. The date and the speaker(s) will be announced shortly. We do hope you can join us.

Finally, I would like to say thank you to all those who helped or offered their help for the OT weekend. Particular thanks go to Gregg Spooner and Vicky Kibble who have worked so hard getting teams together. It is a hugely time consuming job and we appreciate their support in doing this.
With very best wishes,
